About this service
STARCHASERS operates Star Chaser as a small, free UK hobby project for entertainment. It is an independent CS2 case-opening and collection simulator, not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Valve, Steam or Counter-Strike. Names and artwork belong to their respective owners.
These rules apply when you use the service. It is intended for adults aged 18 or over because of its gambling-styled presentation. Discord sign-in is not an age-verification service. Contact r34@tuta.com with questions.
Virtual means virtual
All coins, tokens, cases, skins, prices, seeds and rewards are simulated. Virtual items have no monetary value. There are no real-money deposits, purchasable cases or currency, Steam skin deposits, withdrawals or cash-outs.
Nothing can be deposited, withdrawn, sold, redeemed or exchanged for money, real CS2 items or anything of real-world value. In-game “sell”, “deposit”, “withdraw” and trade labels describe simulator actions using virtual items only. You must not offer accounts or virtual items for real-world payment.
Displayed market values are game estimates, not offers, guarantees or financial valuations. Simulated seeds and odds do not authenticate any real CS2 item or predict real-world outcomes.
Fair play and community conduct
- Do not exploit bugs, automate gameplay, farm accounts, manipulate requests or attempt unauthorized access. Report problems to the operator instead of using them to obtain an advantage.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse other users, or disrupt the service.
- Do not upload or post unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious content, including private information about others without permission. Only share material you have the right to use.
- You allow us to host, display and process your submitted content as needed to operate the requested features and moderate the service. You keep any rights you already hold in that content.
Accounts may be muted or suspended for abuse. Chat and public-profile content may be moderated or removed. We may investigate suspicious activity and correct exploit effects where reasonably necessary to protect players. Contact the operator to ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed.
Accounts, progress and availability
Keep your Discord account and browser secure. Guest saves depend on their browser cookie. Discord registration links a save to your verified identity; subsequent sign-ins do not merge additional guest balances.
We aim to keep Star Chaser enjoyable and available, but continuous availability and permanently saved progress are not guaranteed. Features, virtual items and the service may change, reset or close. Where practical, we will explain significant changes in advance. No cash compensation is promised for lost virtual items.
You can permanently delete a Discord account in Profile. Active rooms, unresolved trades and reserved inventory must be finished or cancelled first. A minimal pseudonymous record of completed shared activity and replay protection may remain. See the privacy notice for details and manual review contact information.
Voluntary donations
Donations are voluntary and never required to play. Donations do not purchase coins, tokens, cases, spins, odds, progression or gameplay rewards. They never improve randomized outcomes, and no randomized reward may be connected to payment.
Any future supporter benefit will be a fixed, clearly described cosmetic thank-you. Cosmetic supporter items will be non-transferable and have no cash value. A donation must never award transferable value or affect the game economy.
Donation buttons remain disabled until an appropriate donation service is intentionally configured and activated. Any future external payment provider will process payment information under its own privacy terms. The provider, operator contact and applicable refund information must be displayed before donations are activated. Planned cosmetics are not an offer of a presently available paid benefit.
Responsibility and reasonable limits
Please use the service for personal entertainment and take breaks. We will use reasonable care in running this free hobby service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses or losses that neither you nor we could reasonably foresee when you used the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not take away protections you have under applicable consumer law. Responsibility in any particular case depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory protections or rights you have to bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Please contact us first where practical so we can try to resolve a concern.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate service notice.
